Full Moon in Aries - 26th September 2026
Whether you’re feeling deeply motived, excited, SLEEPY or like something is around the corner then you’re feeling the Full Moon in Aries 2026! This one is STRONG because - the new moon that seeded this Full Moon was an eclipse. 💥
If you’ve not heard me talk about Lunar Gestation Cycles then let me explain. It’s the idea that any given new moon is a seed and 18 months later a Full Moon will bloom at THE SAME PLACE IN THE SKY, bringing whatever began into completion.

Let me start by sharing what I wrote 18 months ago, at the New Moon in Aries, the solar eclipse that was the seed of this upcoming Full Moon.
New Moon at 09º Aries - 29th March 2025, 10.57am BST
“18 months from now you’ll be amazed by how much has changed.
So many people say not to manifest with eclipses because of their unpredictable nature and that’s up to you. Whether you work with this powerful moment or not, the lunar gestation cycle will play itself out and fated encounters will reveal themselves.
I haven’t mentioned Mars in Cancer yet which is a mistake because Mars rules Aries and with Mars square to Chiron our familial experiences and sense of belonging is most probably being triggered.”
The seeds of love, life and experience that you may, or may not have been aware of, are emerging!! Trust me, it’s wild how whatever happened then will link to now. It won’t be something that happened THAT DAY, but something that happened in the days and maybe even weeks surrounding that eclipse.
Mars rules Aries, and in Cancer he’s poking and prodding at your home, your safety, your sense of belonging, your nourishment (emotional and physical) your stomach, your needs and your family.
Cancer rules all of the above and much more. In summary I think were exploring ideas about where we want to be and who we want to be with. We are considering how we nourish ourselves, not just with what we eat, but also with the things we read, watch and talk about.

18 months ago, the Solar Eclipse was extras special because Neptune was at 29º 59’ of Pisces, the very edge and final degree of the zodiac. The following day he moved to Aries!! 💥
BEGINNINGS!
Do you remember March 2025? Astrologers were going crazy about it! We had both Mercury and Venus retrograde, eclipses, the Neptune ingress into Aries. It was such a FASCINATING time where we straddled the Pisces dreamscape that inspired visions, inner-knowing, vibrant spirituality and faith ALONG WITH Aries self-belief, action, competitive spirit and independent action.
In 2025 Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Neptune ingressed into Aries and retrograded back into Pisces. I found it FASCINATING. Planets swimming in the consciousness of fresh beginnings, selfish action and impulsive moves… moving back into the Pisces place of meditation, stillness, ego death and general yogi ashram life. It’s such a HUGE contrast and I think 2025 was there to teach us how to have the courage to be ourselves, without taking it too far.
Be confident and brave, but keep the reverence.
Go it alone, remember you are connected to everything.
Fight back when you need to, let it go when you can.
Start again, it’s OK if you don’t.
This year, in February 2026 we had the Saturn Neptune conjunction at 0º Aries and that emphasised this same mode of being. The blending of Piscean, Neptunian visions with BRAND NEW STARTS, new dreams and visions. It’s been a gear change, scene change, and injection of inspiration.
September’s Full Moon at 3º of Aries brings it all into clear focus and if you’ve not made the change yet, you might find yourself asking… WHAT AM I WAITING FOR?
Letting the divine wisdom of the universe flow through YOU. This isn’t a Full Moon for sitting back and staring at the horizon. Instead it’s for sitting back, staring at the horizon and then making a clear, direct and simple plan of action.

This Full Moon falls at 3º 37’, sitting between Neptune at 2º 58’ and Saturn at 11º 54’.
The Full Moon also sits very close to the midpoint of Pluto who is at 3º Aquarius and Uranus who is at 5º Gemini.
FULL EXPLOSION!! It’s giving Clark Kent getting into a phone booth, spinning around and coming out as Superman. I bet ya didn’t see that one coming?

I’ve arrived!
Mars the ruler of Aries is at the anaretic degree of Cancer (the final degree of Cancer 29º.) It gives us a BURSTING quality to the mood. Something has to be born. An overdue child? This Full Moon looks like a woman who is about to give birth and is retaining so much water that every inch of her being is ready to let go and give birth to new life. 🐳
This could be you with your ideas, your relationships, whatever it relates to for you - it’s ready to GO!!
The Moon in Aries forms an out of sign trine to Mars in Cancer and they are in a mutual reception. Mars would much prefer to be in Aries and the Moon would much rather be in Cancer, so they are STRONG! This adds to the mode of URGENCY, speed, flow, zest and sparkle. Trines ALLOW things to happen, and what is being allowed under this proactive sky?
You’re being allowed to do what you want, need and crave.
You’re allowed to be yourself.
You’re brave and looking back at your life asking, what was I getting in my own way for?
Why did I wait for people to approve?
Why did I people please when I was making assumptions about what would please them anyway?
Why did I WAIT? What exactly was I waiting for?
If ever there was a Full Moon to BURN some of the behaviours, actions and ideas that you want to move through, then this is it!
The security you crave is with yourself anyway. A secure person is “unfuckwithable.”
This Full Moon is at the apex of a mystic kite, it was seeded at an eclipse and it’s LIBERATION in motion. Soul freedom, release and a great big restart.

BRAVERY
Aries is brave. That doesn’t mean Aries doesn’t feel fear, it means they have more courage than fear. Courage wins. Action wins. Doing the thing wins.
So far I’ve painted a very positive picture, partly because of my personal framework, hopes and bias. But I’m allergic to painting a singular picture for any lunation and I know that the hands of fate can change at any moment.
I know that the unthinkable happens. I know that tragedy is real and can happen to any of us, on any day. I also know that Full Moons are when things happen, so it’s idiotic to assume that everything will be GREAT and BRAVE and bold.
Sometimes the brave thing to do is challenging someone and having a difficult conversation, cutting off the alcoholic, asserting a heartbreaking boundary, going it alone when you’d really rather have someone to hold your hand. Anyone, to hold your hand.
I know that independence and a secure relationship with yourself is the key to progress, but I also know that life is all about relationship. We live to love, share and connect. This is Libra season.
This Full Moon opens hearts and that involves breaking them wide open too… grief redirects the love. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Venus in Scorpio
Venus, the ruler of Libra is in Scorpio, the sign of sex, death, other people’s money and energy investment. I think this does bring up the theme of death, the ultimate soul release.
As I already said, this Full Moon was seeded at an eclipse, so just as we lost Dolly Parton at the Full Moon last month, I’d expect us to lose another big name next week. Someone with planets or placements at early Aries or Libra. Maybe someone who was part of a famous double act.
That symbolism speaks to how much our identities are intertwined with others. For many of us, the Aries identity is entirely wedded to other things.
One big question for you at this Full Moon was asked to me by my Ayurvedic Doctor.
“We know you’re an astrologer and you have friends, family and a partner etc, BUT who are you to you? Who are you besides your work and all the rest of it?”
What is your identity when it isn’t wedded to other things?
That’s deep, Venus in Scorpio (so is the Drs!)
Scorpio is all that lies beneath, the wisdom of our depths. The sweetness that comes from knowing everything ends. the ability to walk away from things that aren’t working. The integrity to say what you mean and act on it. FIXED values, absolute transformations, complete bonding.
How can we love someone so much that we promise to stay with them all our life? What is it to commit?
With Venus in Scorpio, influencing this Libra season with her very soon to be retrograde action you can drill with a diamond drill bit to get clear on your VALUES.
When you know what matters and you keep that sacred, the identity piece and all decisions become much easier.
Retrogrades
At the Solar Eclipse both Mercury and Venus were retrograde - did you make some rogue decisions? Did you take a step back? Was your energy low? Did you visit loves from your past? What was going on late March 2025?
Venus stations retrograde on the 3rd of October and Mercury stations retrograde on 24th October, so naturally there will be TWEAKS. Revisions to your big leaps as we move through the next few months. Old friends, visitors, ideas, blasts from the past and anything else that helps you continue the journey of life.
Two steps forwards, one step backwards….
