Planning and Virgo New Moon Freedom
If you fail to plan you are planning to fail.
A New Moon in Virgo to rip up the to do lists but have the discipline to create an intuitively guided plan.
I know there’s 1000 things to do but can you PAUSE?
Think of it like this;
You’re sitting in an exam hall with 90 minutes to show them how clever and capable you are. Do you rush right in or do you spend 5 minutes reading all the questions thoroughly and then making an quick essay structure?
The best response is to plan. To wait. To look at the detail, think things through and have a plan of attack before you rush around like a busy fool.
Uranus aspecting this New Moon inspires us to jump in headlong without thinking about the repercussions. This new opportunity is exciting, life-altering and fizzes with energy… but are you thinking long-term and are you being strategic? Can you tame the excited life-force and use that channel that energy into something that will set you free? Or will you reach for the instant hit of dopamine and excitement?
Sometimes the right thing to do is cut your losses and move on.
Sometimes the right thing to do is to wipe the slate clean and begin again.
Sometimes you just need a break and a massive reset. To cut loose, get some headspace and see what emerges from the clarity.
There are always jobs to do but are you going to go mental trying to do them all or are you going to say; this is my limit and then after that I need to STOP because otherwise I won’t be productive, loving, and connected to my life.
Do you know how to switch off or are you a hybrid robot already?!
Our phones and devices are MERCURY ruled things and with Mercury stationary direct at this New Moon all things communication are RED HOT. I’m talking; contracts, negotiations, phones, emails, proposals and written ideas.
Mercury RULES Virgo and this is a New Moon in Virgo. The events we are focussing on (or unwittingly experiencing) at this time are ROOTED in communication, thoughts, exchanges, connections, health, order, dedication, healing, cleansing, organisation, preparation, planning, harvesting and purity. I think we can SEE where the chaos is today! See where we can tidy things up and get in order. It’s all VERY CLEAR what needs to be done! Or at least, getting clearer after the past few more relaxed weeks!
One focus is to set intentions that set you free from the past but also set you free from your impulses and desires.
Beyond my expertise:
At this point I sort of want to dive into a whoooolllle discussion of The Virgin and the Whore but not sure I have the energy for it.
Freud originally coined the term Maiden Whore Complex (MWC) to describe men in heterosexual relationships who no longer viewed their partners, for whom they had romantic feelings, as sexually attractive. It was Freud’s theory that men with MWC could not differentiate between their love for their mother and their love for their romantic partner. Men suffering from MWC often can’t view women’s sexuality as “loving” and “sexual.”
Without embarking on this discussion, something I’m not really qualified to talk about I think there is a BREAKING OUT, a liberation (Uranus) of the Virgin Mother (New Moon in Virgo.) The good girl / boy complex that lives within all of us. Both the women who embody it and the men who subconsciously are stuck in this pattern.

Women, Spirituality, Witches and Virgo

This quote is interesting because Virgo is the sign of the witch, the very very precise spells cast in very precise ways! It's so Virgo! This New Moon is an opportunity to be more authentic in your spirituality and to explore the contradiction of service to others and the freedom to be yourself.
The New Moon opposing Neptune says, Don’t believe everything you feel! Discern, take time, meditate, trust your intuitive mind over your ‘logical’ mind.
This new moon could be frustrating as the desires you crave are thwarted. It could also be that you are now overwhelmingly clear at what the next steps need to be. It’s scary but, it’s happening. Change is inevitable but we still shy away from it sometimes!
When Mercury changes direction his THEMES are strong and that makes this New Moon in Virgo the most BACK TO SCHOOL New Moon that ever was. Until today I didn’t care about my diary, events or what needed to happen. I mean, I did care, but not like I do today. Today I am rocket fuelled, back in London and ready.
