Saturn + Envy

Saturn's  arrival is frequently the catalyst that makes us “the person we are today!”

The discomfort makes us take stock.

It’s why we find astrologers, tarot readers, counsellors, strangers on trains, books and anyone basically anyone who will listen to help us to understand why we feel bad or sad.

The Saturn Return is remarkable. It's when Saturn Returns to the place in the sky where he was when you were born and happens every 29.5 years.

Think of it like this… when you were young you loved kids TV shows and then at a certain point they started to look too young and simple. It was time to move on to something more grown up.

At the Saturn Return the world starts to look different. This is when we grow up, when we begin to see things AS THEY ARE. It’s the real maturation.

>> On a side note I want to make a point here because I know lots of people who have loads of Saturn aspects and Capricorn in their chart. They are mature, super grown up, have friends and lovers older than they are. They *are* wise and they are grown up - but to burden them with the notion that they ARE older before their Saturn Return is questionable. It’s a point to debate.

On the one hand their maturity is real, an asset and to be used in day to day life. On the other hand, TIME and experience is what makes us mature and to lean on anyone with lots of Saturn before their time will only reinforce their codependency. They know how to BEHAVE in a way that is mature, but the maturation process isn't complete, it's premature and needs to be treated as such. <<

Saturn is always in our birth charts; nagging, complaining, seeing the negatives, sucking the joy out of the room.

He’s also the very bedrock of who we are. Our spine, our identity and our greatest potentials lie dormant in our Saturn.

It’s the lead that becomes gold - after an initiation. Not everyone converts all that lead to gold; it takes work.

Saturn is insidious. He doesn’t announce itself with a “HEY, you don’t like this person because their Sun or Mars is in the same sign as your Saturn and you’re projecting!” Saturn just SEES the darkness in another and blocks the light. It takes WORK to get past that debris and see the light.

This can manifest as envy.

Join me on Thursday to discuss, shine lights and understand how to navigate Saturn in your life and relationships. Envy sits within all of us and most of us experience it at some point. From Saturn's perspective, how do we deal with it? With compassion.

The key to happiness is love, but LOVE is not always NICE.

Saturn is a loving teacher. He's strict and relentless, but he will do what's best for you. "You'll thank me when you're older." Parents who set their children boundaries understand that saying no is as vital as pruning your roses.

"Bush roses can become unruly and tangled, with little flowering, if not pruned properly."

Understanding the unconscious dynamics at play in our lives, we can ignore them and pretend they aren’t there. But sadness the doesn’t shift until we move it’s heavy-ass energy into a solid foundation for growth.

Where is your Saturn, does this resonate?

Saturn in Aries or the first house inhibits our essential self expression, autonomy and ability to put ourself first. Until we master it and become the leader in our life.

Saturn in Taurus or the second inhibits blocks our abundance and makes us cling to what we have. When we master Saturn we understand FLOW and that spending and letting go moves the energy around.

Saturn in Gemini or the third suppresses confidence in our intelligence and gets caught in the superficial. Advanced Saturn is a genius, polymath or a teacher.

Saturn in Cancer or in the 4th makes our home like rocky with a feeling of lack about where we come from. Advanced Saturn creates their nest.

Saturn in Leo or the 5th is a creative genius and babe but might not trust it. Advanced Saturn knows and leads! ??‍♀️

Saturn in Virgo or in the 6th can be a workaholic or live in chaos. Mastered Saturn organises and compartmentalises like a PRO. Also they eat well and don’t deny themselves.

Saturn in Libra or the 7th can feel lonely, codependent or resist relationship because it feels so serious. Advanced Saturn is committed to themselves and their partner with equal gravitas.

Saturn in Scorpio or the 8th can have issues with debts or seedy sexual encounters. Advanced Saturn masters their finances and is a master in psychology.

Saturn in Sagittarius or the 9th doesn’t need to travel or study because they already know everything. Educated Saturn has an open and philosophical perspective.

Saturn in Capricorn or in the 10th has high standards and is expected to be a top lawyer by 30. Mature Saturn shapes their own career and manages their life according to their rules.

Saturn in Aquarius or the 11th wants to fit in and be friends with everyone! Mature Saturn knows that they are ♒️??unique AF and is comfortable with being different.

Saturn in Pisces or in the 12th is so sensitive that they get smashed / high and live in a fantasy world. Advanced Saturn dances, creates, heals and prays.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.

This October as Saturn and Jupiter resume forward motion, it's a time for COURAGE.

As the collective unravels into hysteria this winter, we need individuals with a solid backbone.
We need individuals who know the difference between projection and reality.

Forza. Have heart.
