THE ODDS CAST - 18/3
Let's talk about the Odds.
All these years and I’ve never considered the fact that Oddie isn’t just about strangeness and Oddness, Uranian uniqueness. It’s also THE ODDS, the probabilities and predictions I work with all the time.
I say things like “with Jupiter transits I apply the 80/20 rule. Most of the time Jupiter transits are brilliant but about 20% of the time they blow up your problems.” (With a silver lining somewhere down the line.)
What’s a transit?
It’s when the planets in the sky today, tomorrow or a month from now will meet and form connections with the placements in your birth chart. The connections to your birth chart and your experience of the current movements of celestial bodies is dubbed 'a transit.'
I saw Poppy Delbridge at an event in January and she pointed out to me that lots of what I do is prediction. It’s obvious, but not something that I talk about or think about. I just do it. I’ve been doing it for years because I defo have some psychic gifts. Since I was 14 I’ve been announcing what’s about to happen.
But like all psychic things, you don’t pick what comes through. It just arrives!
However, when it comes to chart reading, I’m in full flow and that’s why I sometimes don’t remember what I’ve said because it’s not this part of my brain I’m working with, it’s something else. I'm not a medium, I'm not clairvoyant, I am claircognisant.
I don’t think I’ve ever written this before because it connects to language and concepts that I am VERY cynical about. Bernadette Brady in her book the Eagle and the Lark writes about astrological prediction, affirming that to be successful with your intuition you have to respect the discipline of astrology.
There’s a reason I’ve made money betting on football, royal babies and crypto when most people don’t. It’s not a question of Odds when you have a forecast. (I’ve not looked at Kate’s chart, do I need to!?) The challenge is assessing the odds on how people and things respond to transits, as obviously it's different for everyone.
We all work differently and some people are INSANELY gifted psychics who have no need for a chart, card nor palm, whilst others make things up and call it channeling. Who am I to judge? Saturn in Pisces (transit for all of us March 7 2023 - Feb 13 2026) is about applying discernment in all things under the rule of Pisces, such as all things spiritual.

HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK:
Yesterday, Sunday 17th, we had the Sun conjunct Neptune and I felt like someone had pulled the plug out, I couldn’t get my brain working. To be expected with the Sun at the end of Pisces with Neptune who rules sleep, meditation, booze, drugs and movies. I vowed not to open my laptop yesterday and just went with the flow including a walk by the river. Sometimes you just need to unplug and the odds are that relaxation and brain fog was a key motif yesterday. Either that or tears, sluggishness and a profound sense of loss or grief… or dancing a jig and connecting to the oneness of the dance floor like only a Pisces can. Neptune things.
This Pisces energy continues until Wednesday (Tuesday in the USA) and so writing, pondering, creating and allowing the subconscious to take the lead is what we are here for until, ARIES SEASON!
When the Sun moves to Aries; 11.06pm EDT 19th March or 03.06 GMT 20th March. There’s a brand new start, the first day of the Astrological New Year and a chance to renew and recommit to the energy of beginnings and growth.
The odds are in your favour if you want to pick up focus after a listless 10 days or so.

UPCOMING:
Eclipses are imminent (25th March / 8th April) and as they are in the signs of Aries and Libra we are verrrry much looking at self vs other. Fated endings and beginnings, full drama. If you have any planets on or around 5º of the cardinals or 19º of the cardinals then this is for you.
Jupiter is at 14º Taurus, Uranus is at 20º Taurus… this two are gaining momentum as their energies FUSE in the sky on the 20th of April.
I’m feeling quite AWARE about making the most of this transit. Well I was until I remembered that Uranus ABSOLUTELY never does what you think he’s going to do. NEVER. All you can know is that something rogue and disruptive is going to happen. Something radical, exciting and perhaps unhinged.
The conundrum for me is that it’s in TAURUS so on the one hand both Jupiter and Uranus demand freedom and movement, but in Taurus we love things to stay the same. There’s more than one way to travel (we can change our minds.)
I’ll speak much more on this very soon as this is a transit we need to understand in advance. EVERYONE with planets at 21 degrees of the fixed needs to be aware of this shift as things that have ALWAYS BEEN THIS way in your life are about to be flipped on their head. You might find gold.
Splindifourous, not a word but it’s how I’d describe the rich potency of these two liberators meeting in the sign of lush, generous, soothing earth.
